This new design and its story has been sitting on the shelf for a long time. It is a reflection of my life's journey: 25 years ago my life looked very different than what it is today; dark, without hope and regular alcohol abuse had replaced who I was with someone I resented. In November of 2000, I heard about Jesus and the 'good news' at a local church in Ottawa. After years of searching for truth and wrestling with questions like, 'what happens after I die', I encountered the grace of God and later received the free gift of salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. Now my life has purpose and hope. In goaltending, we talk about save percentage among other stats. The highest save percentage in a single season sits just above .900, but with Jesus, His 'Save Percentage' is a perfect 1.00% and it lasts forever.
